Re: (information) : There are feds posing as buyers
We live in a society that blames Wayne La Pierre and the NRA for what Adam Lanza and James Holmes did. A society where women kill more children at planned parenthood in one year than guns do in a lifetime. A society that imports millions of immigrants and promises them welfare if they vote for a democrat. Notice Obama never said anything about gun control until after he was elected. BE SURE TO CONTACT YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES and tell them how you feel, bold talk at the coffee shop is useless. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT ACT LIKE A RACIST LUNATIC it is counter productive.
A president who says "we dont have a spending problem" will lie about other things.

Again this is not from this board its from armslist.com
For those of you who dont know what armslist is it is the Craigslist for guns...
This is practically a year long gun show no paperwork required on almost every gun on here....

Re: (information) : There are feds posing as buyers
My work involves helping government employees understand their benefits and to better prepare for retirement. As such, I have many clients that work for the FBI, BATFE, DEA, etc. These guys are stretched so thin and are so totally focussed on major crimes, I can almost guarantee you that they are not out "en mass" trying to develop lists of AR-15 owners. It makes no sense. First of all, they don't have the time or resources to devote to this. Secondly, if they really want to know, all they have to do is go onto these forums and see who is writing what about AR-15s. Threads like For Sale, Gun Porn, Tactical, etc. give them all they need to know. Matching up a screen name with the person behind it is a piece of cake for them. I have no doubt that this incident referenced above occurred. But I also suspect it was isolated and not part of a wide dragnet. Just my two cents from talking with all these field agents.

Maybe if the federal government didn't waste time with legitimate owners they could do some real work like protecting the borders from illegal immigrants or not selling guns to mexican drug cartels.
