Had you mentioned HB in your 1st post, I would not have wasted your time or mine.....

A great rifle by the way!


Shot one side by side with a Rem 7600 P 308/16" barrel. At 150 yrs target groups similar....both from a rest, both same lot of factory ammo. Sold the R5 and kept the 7600P; much easier for me to handle when walking( mid 60+, now), used the extra money for ammo. Kinda wish I had kept it tho...woulda had it threaded for my Suppressor.


Again a GREAT rifle...

Never a waste of my time to look at guns. Sorry bout wasting yours. I have so many wanna do's, I can get distracted sometimes. 5Rs are tough to beat for a factory rifle.
