Its on a trued savage stainless action with a tuned trigger that breaks crisp at 2.5lbs, it was trued by Jim See that owned Center Shot Rifles, a very good gunsmith that just moved to Oklahoma and now works for Surgeon Rifles. Has a single shot follower in it, I used it as a single shot cause I seat the bullets way out. I may still have regular follower if you want it I will look. Oversized machined recoil lug. Tactical oversized bolt handle. 30" McGowen barrel with break (32" with break), its stainless and has been bead blasted to make a dull finish, the break is very effective. My wife has shot it, I have tested 4 shots across the chrony at 2810-2820 with a 300gr SMK and recoil is not bad. Loading 90gr of H1000, 300gr SMK, with CCI 250 primers, The group below was shot at 100yds with this load, that's the only load I have tried in it so it could get a little better if you mess with charge and or seating depth. It has a brand new Choate tactical stock with full length bedding block. Will sell the rifle for $1500 + shipping or will can include all the trimmings for a full turn key rig. SWFA 20X42 scope with Burris Extreme Tactical Rings and a 20MOA base. Custom whidden dies that have a tapered expander ball for necking up 300rum brass perfectly, shell holder, and the 25 pieces of once fired brass that this gun has fired since put together with new parts. Will sell for $2100 with all the trimmings or $1500 for rifle +shipping. Only selling to build a full custom.
Here is a link to my father-in-law shooting it with load above.
