I have to sale a few rifles and scopes to make ends meet. I'm sure some of you understand that. This is the last rifle I want to sell but unfortunately, is the rifle that will make me the most money......
It's a Lawton 7000 repeater with extended box magazine
ABS fiber wrapped barrel @ 28" long with muzzle brake
20 MOA rail
The barrel was broken in with the "1 shot clean, shot 1, clean, etc. method" I've only tried one load through the rifle after barrel break in and it shot around .6 to .7 MOA at 400 yards.
The rifle with Nightforce 5.5-22NXS weighs close to 10 pounds.
I'll let it go for $2300 (without scope) to the first person with the money. This is a really good rifle that feels good and looks like is going to shoot really well!!!!
I'm not sure of the guys name, but he works at Benchmark Barrels. He put it all together. The brake is a 4 port muscle brake (very effective)!! The stock is a NPI and is pillar bedded. Every piece of the work looks top shelf!!
Sorry for the confusion. The barrel is 28" long plus the muzzle brake. The rifling is 1-11". This configuration gives awesome muzzle velocities and balances suprisingly well. I wouldn't have any problem shooting off-hand at anything inside 200 yards.
Not sure what info to give about the stock. It's not (in my opinion) the same caliber as a Manners, but there probably isnt any that are! ;)
The stock feels great, has a palm swell and provides a great cheek weld for my NFS scope. It rides the bags great too!
