Complete 338 AI set up A-Z

Well due to issues with the shoulder and neck I cannot shoot the big calibers anymore.

So here goes a complete 338 Lapua Ack Imp setup with rifle, scope, brass, dies, bullets, primer and powder plus bore guide and cleaning rods. Everything you need.

Action is a chrome moly Phoenix Machine (Defiance) action with Dave Kiff (PTG) fluted bolt, Kiff firing pin and spring, M16 extractor and tactical knob.

Action was blued cross weave spider finish and melonited barrel. Barrel is super easy to clean and should last thousands of rds.

Lilja 30" SS barrel in 1-10 twist that is 1.350 for 4 inches radical taper to .850 with the new Holland Radial Brake. Both bead blasted with crossweave finish before meloniting. Round count is under 300

.300 Recoil Lug integrated into a 40 MOA Picatanny base.

HS Bottom metal with detach mag system COAL of 3.655

Basix trigger with safety at 1.5 lbs

Leupold 8-25x LR with the Varmint reticle.

Stock is McM A5 with one swivel stud for bipod and two side flush cups for sling carry. All stress free pillar bedded. NF ultralight rings, with ACI.

Total weight of the rifle and scope, loaded with 4 rds is only 13 lbs 10 ozs. This weight makes it a nice carry rig with LR accuracy in hard hitting cartridge.

Custom Neil Jones bushing dies with three different size shoulder bushings ($400), approx 95 pieces 2-3x fired Lapua brass.
2970 fps with 97.0 gr H1000, Hornady 285s and 3 inch groups fired at 800 (4 shots). G1 BC is .720 G7 is .352. The G7 was confirmed in testing over Doppler radar

300 SMKs ran 2960 and just as accurate with same load.

Gunsmith was John Myer at Custom Gunsmithing. Top Recommended smith list on 6mmBR.com.

54” Soft Guncase Custom Lucas Bore guide and Bore Tech plastic coated cleaning rod

400+ Hornady 285s from their run used to test the SOCOM sniper rifles for accuracy

3000 plus Wolf Large Magnum primers

5 lbs plus of H1000

Everything for brass and bullets etc. is $4500 plus shipping.

Absolutely no breaking it up. Selling as one. Sorry no trades.
