300 WSM /A3/M70
Winchester Model 70 (claw extractor) Coyote in McMillon A3 (black/gray marbled white). Action was checked for trueness, lugs lapped and trigger set at 2 lbs by Custom Gunsmithing in Boyce VA (top 1k BR smith). NF 20MOA bases installed. Round count is under 400.
Holland muzzle brake installed, also comes with thread protector so you can take off and shoot without brake. Gun has shot 10" group at 1000 yards with factory barrel and Berger 190s (IBS factory class set up) in the Coyote stock. Shoots in .3 at 100 in factory set up.
I think this is a pre-production gun, as the barrel only has the factory Win proofmark stamp on top but no markings other than 300 WSM on side in light lettering (non-typical factory) and light bead blasting. It shoots much better than normally factory barrel also. Got it from a dealer that normally gets lot of pre-production guns from Win and Rem.
Comes with original laminated Coyote stock that has been pillar bedded and has custom hidden takeoff sling and swivels (Uncle Mikes QD 100) so you can remove and shoot from bag without sling swivels catching.
Also comes with 30 cal Walther 26" 1-10 twist blank. 1.2" for 4" and tapered to 7.90 at muzzle. Has not been chambered.
