what to use out of my 300 win
hi, I got a remington 700pss in a 300win. Does anyone have any advice on what I should use out of it for an up to 800 yard deer bullet. Not trying to stomp on anyones feet but I tried 190gr matchkings and wasn't impressed

I feed mine the 200 gr Accubond, never been disappointed.

Shoot a deer in the chest with a 300WM and 178gr AMAX and it wont take a step. From 30 to 720yds not one has moved.

I might be the diferent one here, but try the 180g Ballistic Tip. Excellent accuracy potential, halfway cheap bullet, will expand nicely out that far.

The 180bt @3000fps is a very confidence building round if you do part correctly.(or could it be the winchester launch pad) [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
