What bipod to buy?

Pretty new to rifles and hunting. But i have a Remington 770 with a broken front swing swivel. Any ideas on what bipod to buy that will let me attach it on to the stock without the swivel? I'm to afraid to screw a hole in my stock, so i would like to avoid that. I know my gun has a lot of bad reviews n i read them all, so please dont bash on it anymore..I would just like some advice or a link to a bipod.

They sell a package with a front stud that has a machine thread on it and a nut to fit inside your stock so you can replace the broken one. This way you can go the normal route to mount a bipod. Look on Midway or your local sporting good store.

I agree with Tarey. Depending on the situation, one of Harris Bipods adapters might work in your situation ... BTW, I also recommend their bipods.

Good luck!

Re: What bipod to buy?

Take a better picture of what needs to be repaired. I fixed a friend's Win70 broken swivel stud with one of Harris adapter with slight modification and JB weld.
