Re: Tripod Rifle Rest

Got the prototypes in today. I had them machined with a .201 hole through the center which is the tap drill for a 1/4-20. This also gave the ability to drill it out and tap is 3/8-16. I talked to multiple people and some wanted 1/4-20 and some wanted 3/8-16 depending if they wanted it mounted to thier panning head or to thier ball head. Here are some pictures of it mounted to my panning head. With a 1" 3/8-16 set screw install it weighs around 2.5 ounces. It was hard to tell the exact weight as I was using my wifes kitchen scale but it looks like I will be saving just over .75 lbs by not carrying my shooting sticks on pack trips. Here are some pictures. I have a couple extra prototypes if anyone is interested.

Re: Tripod Rifle Rest

Yeah, I have two left out of the initial run. What thread do you want? 1/4-20 or 3/8-16?

I will send you a pm.
