Swarovski versus Habicht

Can anyone tell me the difference between Swarovski and Habicht? I know that Swarovski makes Habicht. Is it the quality or a model variation? My question is mostly geared towards a rifle scope.

Thanks Casey

Re: Swarovski versus Habicht

It's a series of models in their range. Essentially a 'no frills' range. Optically just as good as the rest of the Swarovski products but tend to be manufactured with slightly cheaper and usually heavier materials and less features.

Their entry level products.

Binoculars : Binoculars Habicht - SWAROVSKI OPTIK - Binoculars, Spotting Scopes, Rifle Scopes, Hunting, Birdwatching, Travel & Leisure, Digiscoping

Scopes : Rifle Scopes - SWAROVSKI OPTIK - Binoculars, Telescopes, Hunting

They tend to be offered more to us European customers than the US as there's less oppertunity for a mark-up in the US.
