Which Scope base and rings for this set up.

So I finally received shipping confirmation from Vortex that I have a scope on the way. Its time to start thinking about base and rings.

Here is the setup.

Remington 700 Sendero .338 RUM
Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP MOA Reticle.
The scope only has 65 MOA elevation travel so I'm thinking a 40 MOA rail might be too much??? Id like to utilize as much travel as possible. Also what manufacturer of base and rings would you recommend?

Thanks,

Seekins or Near Mfg. for bases and rings. The Vortex Precision Rings are made by Seekins. Bed the rail!!

Here's another vote for Seekins bases and rings. Very high quality stuff.

Try Pierce One Piece Scope Rings : Pierce Engineering , (lower half of the ring is the base)

They have it in 0, 10 20 , and 30 MOA. 20 MOA is probably all you need, unless you go extreme distances.

Have you looked at DNZ Products? The Game Reaper one piece is available in 20 MOA. I bet if you called them they would build you a 30. Their customer service is awesome!
