After reading all this about the Russian rangefinder and what BountyHunter is stating, I called a friend of mine at BATF and he stated that owning one of these units you are liable to confiscation and prosecution. He also told me that owning one of these is like owning a suspressor, total illegal. I myself was going to buy one, but after talking to my friend, I deceided that I'm too old to sit in the big house for 10 or so years. This is what I found out so everybody that has one if you keep on using it, I would keep it under my hat by not saying anything to anyone and don't use it in a crowd, as people tend to talk to much.
