A rare treat.

For some time now I've been kicking arounrd the Idea of having a custom barrel done. Well today I took a drive over to Mike Rock's place (Rock Creek Barrels) I have to tell you I had an absolute blast, He took me inside the shop and gave me a much appreciated glimpse into the world of barrel making. I found him to be patient as he answered my questions (even the stupid ones)and an absolute wealth of information. Needless to say after ordering a new 6.5x.284 barrel in a M24 contour I couldn't help but think what a true pleasure it was doing business with him. If your in the market for a new barrel He is definitly worth a look.
