Gun Cases

Would like some input. Pelican, Bear Track, Starlight, Cabelas Bullet Proof. Which case. Have a trip planned to Africa and have heard my buddies horror stories. I have a lot of money and time put into my rifle and want to get her there unscathed. Anyone who has traveled across the pond who has had great results with a case?

Re: Gun Cases

I have a Starlight and love it. Been on 2 trips to Newfoundland with it (From CA). There used to be some threads where there was a contact for the owner of Starlight. They sold some cases at a discount that had been returned because of hinges or wheel problems. So you got a good deal on one with the only problem being an external part that was fixed.

I found mine being sold on another site so I never called Starlight.

Re: Gun Cases

I would have to go with the Pelican! I have a model 1750 and love it. Pelican customer services is excellent.

SKB Roto-Mil cases

SKB Sports Cases: News

a dealer:

SKB 2R5212-7 Case 2 Gun Waterproof Rifle Case

I've looked at a lot of cases, and if I ever decide to take rifles on an airplane it will be in this case.
