Re: Good Electronic Scale

I have the Lyman, PACT and that Green box(RCBS) as you do.

The Lyman is the most consistant of the three and right on with my dial in Blance beam scale.

The RCBS is not very consistant at all and my older PACT is not "quite" as good as the Lyman.

I hit the reset button "BEFORE EVERY" powder charge or bullet I put on any of the scales I have had.
Seems to work well that way especially on the Lyman.

I've threatened to do the same thing to my RCBS scale.

Re: Good Electronic Scale

I cannot tell what you equate "good" in terms of dollars, but, for the money, my Denver Instruments scale is repeatable to plus or minus .01g day in, day out.
Your pocket WILL hurt but you'll never look back.
