    ABS barrel

Carbon wrapped barrels are just as accurate as the steel conterparts.
The ABS barrels will cool fast and that is supose to lengthen the life of the barrel. I have installed many of this brand and they all shot under .5moa
Its a must to use a high quality steel blank for the starting platform.

Ive been through the ABS factory and Mike Degerness does a high quality barrel.

Theres a few companies that I know of:

    ABS- Rock liners, $900

    Magnum Research- Pac-Nor liners, $600

    Christensen Arms- Shilen liners, $825

    Prices are for unchambered barrels.

    Hope that helps.

do they put a gaurantee on the accuracy after they have been wrapped. i am just wondering if you guys that have used these have found a better barrel thats been wrapped. do you guys also know how much less these weigh over a 28 inch varmite conture.

They put a guarantee on accuracy if they do the installation, but not if they just wrap it for you. Well, Magnum Research and Christensen anyway, I've never talked with ABS (they never answer my e-mails).
