Best Scope/Rings Torque wrench $20 can buy

I have a couple of these for backups - they work surprisingly well for the price.

Right you are Big Bore , That's the one I have been using for many years . I have it set for 40 or 42 inch/lbs for my Reworked 700 Rem . and it works like a charm . That reminds me ..... I should pick up another as a back-up .

With the 6/24 threads of the Remington receiver screws, they should be torqued to 65 inch pounds.

The cap screws of your scope rings, no more than 15 inch pounds.

The massive 6 lug Burris XTR Rings specify 20 IN LBS. I talked to the Burris engineer and he was happy with 22 In Lbs. At $45/pair, I don't know why you'd by anything else.
