Best copper remover yet!!!

I have used just about everything. Bore Tech Eliminator, Shootes Choice, Sweets, Barnes CR-10, Montana Extreme etc.

Well ME has a new product that beats anything else hands down. It is called Montana Extreme 50 BMG. Got a sample bottle this week at the IBS 1000 Yard Nationals.

My heavy gun has little over 2100 rounds through the barrel so took it to Tim North, Broughton Barrels to have him look at it with borecope and tv monitor. Had tons of copper in 4 inches in front of the chamber. Had just cleaned it too.

Took it back to the bench and put some 50 BMG in bore and nylon brushed it. Dark blue started rolling out the barrel. 2-3 other shooters watching wanted to know what I was using that caused that much blue to come out so fast.

bottom line 30 minutes later, we took the gun back to Tim. It was clean of all copper totally. However need new barrel. Surprise after 2100 of the 300 WSM rounds. Only placed 5th in HG score and 26th in HG group for 16th overall in 2 gun.

So Tim gets an order for a new 1.450" straight 12" twist 30 cal barrel and I am using 50 BMG now exclusively.

Does it smell like ammonia? If it does, i have the recipe for it.

Yep, smells like ammonia but also cuts carbon out super fast too. Seen a couple of the home brews but this is really different from the way it acts.

I got a sample bottle and after cleaning my rifle and looking at it on Tims scope picked up 3 more bottles for $5 per bottle

Bounty Hunter, I just ordered a couple of bottles to try out. My 340 has that same buildup about 3 to 4 inches in front of the throat, hope this works. They are currently backordered until early next week. I will post on here if it manages to remove that crud in my 340. Thanks for the tip.
