Ballistic software

Hi all,

I'm new to shooting long ranges. I was wondering what type of software are out there and the prices of them. I also want a palm pilot or pocket PC that will allow me to use the software.

What I need:
1. What brand of palm pilot or pocket PC?
2. Wind meter/reader, what brand

I don't have a rifle scope yet (planning on NightForce), I have Leica CRF 1200 rangefinder.

I plan on shooting ground squirrels and rabbits up to 1k yards.

What else do I need?

My budget is $400.00 excluding the scope.

Lastly, is the software easy to use. I know I probably won't understand some of the scientific terms that are on the software. Does the software come with definitions to those terms.

Thanks all,

Johnny
