Re: Badlands Bino Case/Harness

I just looked up the Alaskan Guide Creations bino case and I like them. No zipper or no magnets just a buckle and a few additional compartments. I like them.....thanks for the heads up.

I've been evaluating the BinoBro made by Oregon Pack Works. It's made for several different binocular sizes, holds the binoculars secure to my chest, and is easy to get the binoculars in and out. I was looking for something light and comfortable that would protect the optics from dust without being too expensive. So far, I really like this product.

Re: Badlands Bino Case/Harness

Badlands all the way. Its stream lined and if you are a hardcore belly walker you can easily fasten the unit closed w/ a clip or string from the opening latch to the small handle behind it. But you also have the option to fasten the bino to the unit like your elastic harnesses. So either way you will not be SOL w/ bino's 1.5mi back the trail.

I had a horn hunter which closely resembles every other attempt to one up the badlands (w/ a magnet rangefinder holder, pitiful at best) and to say its lackluster doesn't even begin to describe its inferiority. Don't fall for all the little gadgets and extra pockets, you can deal w/ all that if you are a bird watcher but for hunting k.i.s.s. Esp when bowhunting, the less to interfere the better.

As of now, nothing on the market compares to the badlands.

Has any one tried the lock down by s4 gear. I have heard a lot of good things but have not been able to see if they would fit my 10 x 50 swaros.
