Badger tactical bolt knob

Anyone used a Badger tactical bolt knob? Are they worth the cost and effort or just another toy to spend money on?

Re: Badger tactical bolt knob

I have one on a rifle that gets a lot of use and really like it. Increased leaverage and definitely different, great addition to any Rem. 700. They polish very smooth with after a few years of steady use.
Check into having the bolt handle bolted to the body to elliminate the possibility of the weld breaking and losing the bolt handle also.
Several smiths can do the installation and "bolting", some are pretty regular on this site.

Definitely a "to do" mod. I have two and plan to do a couple more...

Chris, that looks like a "celt bolt modification" from HD rifles...

I plan on getting it done to my rifle as well...

Re: Badger tactical bolt knob

For me, it was money well spent. I like the knob much better than the factory knob. I've never talked to anyone who has one that didn't like

Re: Badger tactical bolt knob

I'm a big fan of the Badger knob. A most worthwhile mod IMO. MM
