Anyone tried the folding Choate sniper stock

I'm contemplating a Rem 700 Short Action build for back packing. I'm thinking a 22" 300WSM shooting 165gr bullets in the following stock. I'd put a lightweight 2.5x8x36 Leupold VXIII on it for a short/light backpacking rifle. I think I could get a bit more than 3100fps out of a 22" barrel.

Choate Ultimate Sniper FOLDING Stock for Remington Short Action

Any input on this stock would be greatly appreciated. It would be sweet to have a rifle that folded to around 30" and could be stuffed into a backpack.

i know this is an old thread, but i have recently been looking at this stock myself. i have seen some people say its discontinued, but not so on choate's site, so. all info appreciated.
