I like the stock color, it is real nice. What made you select a 27 inch barrel?
I see you wife lets you appreciate your animals even when you are working in the garage.

Thats Kirby's garage...I went with a 27 because thats what Lilja had in stock after a barrel delima with another maker use a 27" or end up waitin another 2 months. Origanally it was gonna be a 28" so I really didnt give up much.
Im sure it will still get the 169's into the 3300 range no problem and Itll fit in a case!

Well, I saw all the yardages there in the background and I thought that anybody who could put a group into that small peice of paper @ 2370 yards didn't need an Allen mag, but I see now that those are the Varmint Hunters plaques for all of kirby's rockchucks. Somedays I am just a little slow.:o

Well I love it! Had to put an order in for some more reloading stuff but in good shape now. I just cant find any AA-8700 but one shop says he has some on the way. Then Ill play with some 140 AB's. Weather has been wet and windy so havent shot for a group yet but did shoot a 500 yard NRA ram with it and get a good zero. A 7 RUM puts lil craters in it, a 169 from a AM blows holes through 1/2" steel at 500. Gonna try to get some time on it tommorrow weather permitting!
If you think you want a AM from Kirby, Do it you wont regret it!
