A word to the wise

If anyone gets the itch to try powders other than ball powders in the 270 AM and maybe the 277 and 7mm AMs I'd recommend that you talk to Kirby first.

After all APS has more experience with these cartridges than most individuals.

Its just a good idea.

Roy

I have an observation that may have been stated on this thread earlier and thanks to Roy for pointing us in the right direction and it has to do with brass for the 270AM. We tried the Noslers and they do seem to be a bit more fussy. They also seem to start out with seating primers too easy where as the Remington brass in 7mmUM necking them down is very easy and the primers seem to fit better. At this point I am sold on the Remington brass for the 270AM. Anybody looking for Nosler brass? I have some for sale.....on the "for sale" reloading thread here.

Ive got a new box myself Im not going to try, season is approaching really fast so Im going with the rem brass.

Mike thanks for the box of 169's....packaged like diamonds!

Tim thanks for the dummy rounds and all your help too.

Bill/Lerch like I said somewhere else thats customer service..... hide a scope till you get back from a huntin trip....WOW! It should be here today.

ROY.....ROY.....ROY........Your a trip! Glad to know ya! and thanks for all the help.

Kirby, I dont think there is a better group of people out there that have helped in this endover on a custom rifle than the ones on this post, the people at Lilja, yourself, and members of the entire AM family.

Well I dont know I just felt like thanking you all before I get real busy.
