I have been shooting the 162 gr AMAX in my 7mm Rem. Mag. with very good results. 3 shots at 300yds have been 1.75" to 2". Also using Retumbo with this combo, great powder, extreme spreads less then 10fps. The AMAX box actually recommends a twist of 1 in 8, but I have had no problems with my Remington with the 1 in 9.25 twist.

Hornady should say, anything around 1in9, give or take a 1/2" [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] Jay
