It's times like these, with the current political candidates, that I reflect on the past, and how our recent presidents have handled the job. And I keep coming back to the fact that in my lifetime, nobody has measured up to the gipper. Would he have made the mistake of not finishing the job in Iraq in the first round? What would he do about the illegal aliens pouring into our country? Would Osama still be sending out recorded messages to irritate the free world? Ronnie may have left his shoes in the white house for others to fill, but I would rather he had left his BALLS.

Case in point. Jimmy Carter had hostages held for 434 days. Reagan said that if they were not freed by the time he raised his right hand, we would come and get them. they were freed the morning of his inauguration.

what he did to quadafi(SP?)....when it was found out that diaper head was behind the nightclub bombing that killed a couple marines he sent a flight of f-111's with laser guided bombs over his palace in tripoli. the only reason he didnt get him was the prick was sleeping in the backyard in a tent. we never heard another peep from mr quadafi until he called W and said he wanted to give up all his WMD aspirations.....

I will never forgive the french *#%%$ who would not let us fly through their airspace to carry out this raid.....that probably cost one pilot his life. AJ
