I have a PACT Digital Precision Powder Scale and it's been great until I moved into my new place. It won't hold a zero for poo and doesn't "act" anything like it used to. It also seems to be affected by my body, especially my fingers near the front.
It was not damaged during the move, and I have tried every anti-static/grounding trick with no luck.
I called PACT and tried everything they suggested.
Anybody ever had this problem?

I don't have the pact but use a lyman 1200.
I had it set up under a heat vent and when the heater or AC kicked in the scale would pick up the air currents.
I just duck taped the vent off and was good to go!

Air currents (breath included) and vibrations are normally the culprits with sensitive scales. The desk or counter top should be sturdy also. If you lean on the counter and it flexes or gives it will affect your readings. The scale should be level also. Calibrate (zero and span) before each reloading session. Hope this helps. JohnnyK.
