Ackley writes of experiments wherein he fired larger than bore diameter bullets in attempted destructo(my word) tests. It was remarkable how much abuse some barrels will tolerate, but getting 2 .338 thru a 7mm bore? Priceless! Unreal! WOW!

I am impressed how that .338 bullet became .284!

Watching those hunting shows is a little like reading Playboy. Those big racks are out there but they're few and far between, easier to spot than to get one of your own, and if you do get one, it usually costs quite a bit to mount it.
