...and sometimes it helps to just be lucky!

I tagged another doe day before yesterday, so i decided to put the big rifles up. I dug out my old faithful 788 Remington 30-30 topped with a K6-W Weaver, loaded up 20 rounds with 34.7gr IMR 4064 under a 125gr Sierra FNHP. did the typical woods rifle sight-in, drew a circle on a box top and set it in the field and ranged it(96yds) rolled my coat up and sat the rifle on it, and sighted in the gun, the decided to shoot 3 just to see how well it shot. group measured .805 total(.600 center to center)
pure and simple luck, but still pretty neat!
later
Dan
