Reloading..Primer Question

I used to reload. It's been about 13 years since though. I was just a young teen then. I used to get flat primers after the reload was fired.

Other than making sure cases are not too old (or been shot too many times) and making sure I strictly conform to safe load/pressure info. What can I do to avoid such? Thanks,

where do we begin? Let's just say, that's not normal. Do a little reading on the subject. Buy a good manual.

Primer cups have changed much in the last 13 years. Primers that today are flat indicate too much pressure. Many different causes, including reaming out the primer hole. Read, read, read, as suggested and don't start with max loads. Good luck. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
