    They weren't!

    Several years ago, they were talking about re-introducing wolves into Colorado. My 90+ year old grandfather went to one of their public hearings. When it was his turn at the microphone, he looked straight in the eyes of the young biologists. He asked each one of them if they had ever been hunted by a pack of wolves. Every one of the biologists said no. My Grandad then said, "If you had, you'd know why we got rid of them in the first place!" and he sat down. I think he got his point across.

    Long range shooting is a process that ends with a result. Once you start to focus on the result (how bad your last shot was, how big the group is going to be, what your buck will score, what your match score is, what place you are in...) then you loose the capacity to focus on the process.
