Perch! It's what's for dinner ...

Did a little bit of ice fishing at Lake Frances before the snow storm sent us home packing ...






(Lemon and herb spiced, pan fried in sunflower oil and butter)

Wow nice job, we did some ice fishing today too, on lake sakakawea but no luck. I havent had perch in forever, but lots of walleye!

I caught them on Swedish pimple with red maggot from the bottom to ~6" up. We were on 26' of water and normally we hit on walleyes and pikes but not today.

We were fishing in 15-20 feet, we will try deeper tomorrow if the weather is nice. Thanks!

Yep, walleyes are good eats but you're right, them perch are pretty tasty.
