And now the Alaska Legislative panel has confirmed it. Sarah puked all over Alaska law using her elected authority as the Governor of Alaska in order to settle a family fued. She doesn't have the foresight or the composure to separate "Working for the People" from "Working for Sarah". Couldn't stand it. She just had to have that sweet taste of revenge. When she couldn't get it any other way, she fires the Commissioner.
Best part about this whole Sarah cluster is that her ex-brother-in-law is still working for the troopers. She's such a screw-up; she'll never be able to get rid of him now unless she wants to pay him off in a settlement. Let's take bets! How many think Sarah will pursue her ex-brother-in-law to the point that he sues the State of Alaska and gets a huge settlement from the State. Sarah the cluster. Doing Alaskans proud.
McCain had to be an idiot to select her as a running mate. He got what he asked for, all that and more.
I think they have medicine for what you're going through, phorwath. You might want to check it out, it might help.

Hey, if I wasn't enjoying the moment, I wouldn't be wasting my time taking advantage of Sarah the screw-up. Sarah would have been better off just admitting it was a revenge firing in the first place... if it was such honorable behavior. She could have taken the high ground like your buddy matador tried, and explained it was really in the best interests of Alaskans at large. matador and that Florida wisdom. We need more of that up here in Alaska. He should move to Wasilla, and join the "Sarah can do no wrong crowd". Then his life would be blissful, like yours.
I understand that this was an abuse of power because she did not rein in her Husband, that's what the report said. She did wrong on that, & though I understand when your parents are threatened, the taser incident, shooting illegal Moose & other things this idiot did does not justify it, I see how many if not most might get emotionally involved. Like I said, I listened & it was wrong, but boy if that's all this team of pencil necked, Socialist
Democrap team of Lawyers that were sent up there could find, wow!!!
Try as I might, I place a little more emphasis on being concerned about a Socialist Demoncrap Marxist, anti-gun thug running for President who may not even be a Citizen
& hates White people, I don't know why, but that worries me more than that lone tropper, we could deal with that later. I kinda like to keep my eye on the ball.

For god's sake, will Elkguy or the editor please correct the spelling (and punctuation) on this thread title! Everytime I see it, it's like fingernails on a blackboard!
Besides her poor judgement, she completely failed in her objective of firing of her ex-brother-in-law because she couldn't stand to stay out of the matter after being elected Governor! How's she ever going to get rid of the loser now, short of paying him off with Alaska's money.
This guy is still working for the troopers and is protected for life as long as Palin remains Alaska's Governor. Otherwise the guy will sue the State and win a big lawsuit. If she'd have just let the Commissioner take care of disciplining his own troops... but she had to get revenge. What a rookie.
It justs reinforces how little experience and composure she has in an executive position. God help us if she assumes the office of the Presidency because McCain gets elected and then dies in office. Honestly I could not believe McCain picked her as his running mate, based on the primary qualification of being a Hockey Mom. It's made for some good laughs on Saturday Night Live, and Tina Faye is certainly making good money off of her impersonations.
McCain would have been as well off to select a Poodle as his running mate. He couldn't find ANYONE else with more experience than 18 months as the Governor of Alaska? The last 2 months of which her Administration has been tied up in a rat's nest over a self-inflicted Troopergate.
Kinda pissed at McCain for his gamble on Sarah. I'm not aware of any other vice-presidential candidate with such little political experience ever - not even close. She's not going to remain credible until the election. Yes she's a good speaker and she presents herself well in the propped speachs she gives, like at the Republican Convention. But she doesn't know diddly squat. Have you seen how she did when she had to think on her feet with Katie Couric? McCain's been trying to keep her out of the limelight in any similar type interviews but she's already been exposed as ill-equipped to step into the Vice Presidency. Something more and more people are coming to understand - she's nothing more than a normal Hockey Mom - as we approach election day.
Like it or not, it's pretty clear we'd better prepare for the big O for the next 4 yrs. You don't have to worry about Alaska. We ALWAYS vote Republican.

Let's not forget the hope that there are enough clear thinking Americans left without swirls in their eyes absorbed by all the media drivel like the troopergate soap opera that you have so warmly embraced and championed so as to thwart a big O scenario.

Yes, there's always hope. But I believe hope for more of the same won't win an election after 8 yrs of Bush's Republican hopelessness. The economy is on the verge of shambles, and we've spent close to $1,000,000,000,000 on a fabricated war that's failed to serve any useful purpose. This whole election is about hope for change from anything that even remotely resembles more of the same. So I'm preparing for at least four years of change.
