AJ, I agree. I love how some say she is far from ready to be President if necessary but the same folks don't say that Obama is not ready, when anyone can see that he is far less prepared & he would be President right off, unbelievable! Only a Lib would have trouble with that one.

Oh, & for gun owners, no comparison. Obama/Biden ticket is the most anti gun ticket ever!
I have everything this Socialist clown has voted on & LIED about on this issue & have posted it in the politics section.

Re: Palins speach

We'll share Sarah with the rest of the country because, well, she'll be good for America. Just remember she's ours! Being from Wasilla I can say the hometown pride here is immense. Not since Teddy Roosevelt have we had the opportunity for this level of frontier, rugged, americana representation in Washington. For it to presented in such an intelligent, beautiful, honest, level headed package is very exciting. For John McCain to choose Sarah for VP demonstates his sound judgment. When was the last time we could actually look forward to Nov 4th with anticipation.

As for all the whining about "troopergate", talk about mountains out of molehills. This is just another example of her noble fight against corruption. It is to her credit, not discredit.

Go Sarah!

It must be the water in the Wasilla area. I can't think of a single good thing to say about her decision to fire a Commissioner who wouldn't fire her ex-brother-in-law. And neither can Sarah. She's tried three different times now, and given three completely different reasons. Which one do you believe? What happened to her motto open, transparent government? The reason it's so stupid is because it was and should have been a molehill... something she should have ignored for her own good. Yet she couldn't restrain herself and in an act of pettiness, fired the guy and left herself wide open to attack. Now the McCain team has sent their best lawyers to defend her and to stall this until after the election. And her own Attorney General refuses to enforce the laws. He's gotten the message to either fall in line or else... he'll be the next one walking.

There's open, transparent, honest government in practice. All from hometown Alaska. Yeah, here's something you can really be proud of... home-grown too.

Re: Palins speach

phorwath,

As Governor it is her perogative to dismiss a Commissioner. How many Attorney Generals did Clinton fire when he took office? Anyone remember? The fact that this Commissioner retained the employ of a bad cop just makes his firing all the sweeter. You can dwell on this matter if you choose. It is a non-issue trying to be made into a big deal for political reasons by unprincipled Palin nonsupporters. If the McCain camp thought this non-issue would be a problem they never would have selected Sarah. Clear thinking individuals easily see this "troopergate" as something that would be more to her credit than discredit.

Re: Palins speach

I understand that this guy was offered a transfer, but opted to resign. I hope he is not unemployed & would bet he isn't. I could lose some sleep over one job, but I might lose more sleep if the ultimate Socialist Demoncrap gets elected & we all go to the crapper. One can only imagine how Obama, the least experienced & least qualified of any nominee in modern times and most liberal ever as well would deal with Russia taking over the Artic, Russians training with Ven. or any international crisis of any kind. I understand that people want something different when the economy is bad, but getting a worse economy is not a logical alternative & I believe folks will decide that in the final days they don't want Socialism.

Palin is a breath of fresh air & of course she has her enemies. But her view is right & it is exciting. I like all of the gripping by those that don't have her conservative view, it just
gives her more attention & people like what they hear & see. I hope the whinning continues.
