Friend Ernie Bishop and I will be competing at Dave Lauck's International Tactical Riflemen's Comp. this Aug. in Gillette, WY. It's basically a roving silhouette shoot out to 1000+ yds. Ernie and I will be the 1st ever to compete with our specialty pistols. His is a Gre'-Tan Rifles creation-- an XP 6.5-284, mine will be a Savage Striker, 17" Broughton barrel in 243WSSM. I've gotten the attention of one of the guys @ The Out. Channel, and he intends to do a segment on the "1000 Yd. Pistols", as he calls them-- we'll see what happens. Could be interesting. I think there's still some openings for the shoot-- check it out @
