Did you ever get to the range with a box of loads to test and look at the wind flags hanging limp, and say this is going to be a good day? Then you pull your rifle out of the case and a stupid look comes over your face. The next words out of your mouth are something like oh shit! about the time you realize your bolt is on the cleaning bench? [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
Any other range or hunting stories about things left behind?

I did bring two other rifles with bolts to the range. Not a wasted day.

got to the favorite field... every woodchuck in the county is out and looking around as nothing worries me today... get set up gun out spotter ready... go to pull shells out... sigh .... makes for a long day....
