Need Sling advice..

and who better to ask than this family we have here

I need one that will be decent for sling shooting, but just as important if not more, one that will aid in carrying in Colorado for Elk this fall/winter, needs to be comfy.

Let me add I tried a old leather sling off my dads 20 year old 700 BDL and it sucked.

I will be taking a Sendero SF with attached bipod and SS 10X42 ontop. I'll probably get more than 1 to accomodate my VLS which weighs in at .5 lb more.

open to suggestions..Please post website if possible.

any good ones at http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum3533.php from the Blackhawk line?

Im ordering some cheek pads from them for the AR and the 870, just curious. It would be nice if they had one so I could order it all together.

Thanks in advance!!

Re: Need Sling advice..

This thread degenerated into a discussion of different types of slings.

There was also something about stretchy slings somewhere, but I did not pay much attention other than to think how much I like the stretchy sling on my laptop case, and people were probbably right about it being comfortable on a gun.
