Thumbs up My son is back in the USA.

I've been a member for a long time and have some friends on this board but I don't post very much. I just wanted to share my joy with you guys. My son (Andrew, US Navy) has completed his first deployment in Afghanistan and is back in the USA. I haven't seen him yet but we talked. He will be home on leave in about 2 weeks and we just wanted to share our joy with you guys.

He has Achieved some amazing awards and Commendations and we're very proud of him!

Thanks for reading,
Frank D

Congratulations to you, and a big thanks to Andrew for his service. It's always good when they can come home safe and sound.

I suspect it is harder to sit at home and hope and pray than to go and do it yourself.
