Re: Which Muzzleloader is best for the money??

Anyways, I own a Winchester Apex which is nothing more than a glorified CVA Kodiak Pro. I shoot 777 powder with Hornady SST 250 grainers and it would be hard for me to set that thing down for something else. I bought it for $278 dollars for the SS/black fleck version. Damn is it a fine shooter.

I did do idiot things like bedding the stock and Gun Koting the blackened steel parts, but other than that, its factory.

Ian, you have mentioned (besides safety) that smokeless may cause state game agencies to ban smokeless.

Not even close.

Inlines, by nature and there origins are because people want "near" centerfire performance.

Not centerfire performance, but as close as possible.

If that is not the case then why not sell only traditional.

Tony, and I assume you are talking about Tony Knight apparantly has been wrong before regarding the "trend" of the sport.

The 45 cal is a bust, you can buy them for 1/2 price or less.

T/C got caught in the 45 craze as well.

I don't mind how far off this has gone...to me it looks like it didn't go off subject at all. The more information the better. Thanks again to all so far. This looks like a helpful thread to anyone wanting to learn about ML.

New stuff to come, might be wise to wait a while before making decision - trust me, worth waiting a while.
