If you read the 25-06 article, it states that more frequent cleaning is needed w/the 25 WSSM than the 25-06. The author was basing this off of two rifles, a factory fodder 25WSSM and a custom bbled 25-06. He would have been more accurate to state that factory bbl require more cleaning time than saying it was the 25WSSM.
