mercury recoil suppressors?

Have any of you tried these in your rifles? I used to have one in my trap shotgun and it seemed to help. I am currently bedding it in my RUM stock to see if it does any good for comfort while shooting prone, without putting on a muzzle break.

Busy day with the RUM, putting in a rifle basix 1.5-3lb trigger, pillar bedding, oversized firing pin/ spring, and recoil suppressor.
