Marine Tex or JB weld for Bedding a wood stock?

I have used these on fiber glass but a buddy of mine is buying a Boyds wood stock and I am bedding it. Will either of these two work or should I use AcraGlas?

Either on will work well on just about any stock , the wood stocks are are actualy a little easier because you don't have to worry as much about if the bedding compound is gonna stick to it or not. I still use the Dremel tool to make some undercuts in the bedding are to act as a structural "lock" for the bedding compound to hold in

I use marine tex on all my bedding jobs unless on severe recoiling rifles or handguns where I will use steel bed instead.

    Dakor,

I'm with the other guys on this. I use Mari-tex on almost everything it has virtually no cure shrinkage. JB will lose a little (miniscule ammount) as it cures. The MT has practicaly none.
