I like that idea too! What info would you require to ensure it's truly useful for LR before it's posted?

Re: Load Database....

I like the idea. I'd like to see more info than the other internet sites have. Such as

Cartridge Overall Length
Distance off lands
Brass type
primer type
powder type and amount
velocity (and which chronograph)
Barrel Length
Bullet type/weight

I think that groupsize, ES etc. is so rifle specific it is not needed. If the forum was for 'pet loads', I'm sure the loads would have shown good promise in members firearms.

It would also be great to keep track of Quickload estimates for each load. If a Quickload estimate was given that matched the velocity, the pressure would be interesting.

Maybe it's just me but I'd like to see Av speed, ES, and SD. It would help me to know if it meets the criteria of what I'd want to shoot with. Everyone on the forum doesn't use a max sd of 6 for a rule of thumb. Some people are OK with an es of 25. I don't think you are. I wouldn't expect a single digit ES with someone elses load but it would lead me to believe I could get low teens out of it. I'm with you on group size though.
