If the poor guy is swamped with work as it is what good would a web page do for him? He'd probably never get any sleep and your rifles would get farther and farther behind.

Heck Roy , with the cost of insurance and taxes now days , the long hrs these guys work and the crap that they have to take from customers on a daily basis if the better smiths doubled their cost it would still be a deal in my book.

They call it the LAW of supply and demand for a reason.

Call him an outlaw, but Kirby's fighting hard not to give in to it. Clearly, he's an "honest pay or an honest day's work" kind of guy. At this time, his rifles are substantially undervalued. I should buy a couple for investment purposes. One day the LAW will catch up to him though.

He could make a lot more money and do a lot less work if he'd raise his prices. Look at what a Lazzeroni's cost, or Mcwhorter's, or Hart's, or Borden's, or Jarett's, or..... They all START at least $1000 more than what Kirby charges and don't guarantee better accuracy. Some start as much as $5,000 more. I don't know of any other custom gun, with or without an accuracy guarantee, that costs less. Not to mention that he offers his unique wildcat chamberings.

Re: Kirby Allen fooled me...

Who's this Kirby Allen guy you're all talking about???

Oh yeah...............he's the guy that built these two "investment pieces". This is the stuff that APS calls bells, whistles and bling.
