INTRODUCING MARINE 2nd Lt ALSTAT

I have just returned from Quantico, VA for the commissioning of my wife Jennifer. This is the culmination of over a year of work for her. She was one of the 30% of applicants selected to attend Officer Candidate School at Quantico. There were 6 Candidates selected from her region, 2 completed OCS and are now 2nd Ltís. She is the only one, of the two, that did so without complications. Her platoon started with 63 females and only 26 successfully completed OCS and were commissioned. Needless to say, I am extremely proud of her and to have her as a fellow Marine. The commissioning ceremony was held inside the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA.

Wow great for her, she looks great in that uniform. Who was her first salute?

Tell her "Way to go" from me. Wondered why I hadn't seen much of you two over the last year. Very Cool.

I may be wrong here, but I'm assuming she's a "mustang." I always liked mustangs much better than ring knockers. Send my congrats from the Old Army folks
