Re: Info request for large action design

BH,

Have you heard any interest in any of those receiver makers looking into the 408 CT class receivers?

We need alot more options for this big case. BATs are great but more options are never a bad thing.

Just curious if you have heard anything in the wind???

Re: Info request for large action design

Based on what Jerry stiller was saying, his new action would take it.

The large Lawton action is 1.60 in diameter with .750 bolt diameter, think it would. Not sure of length.

the old Rampro was bought by Brad Stair (Performance Machine) in West Haven, Utah. He was making (CNC) a mini action then a rem SA and LA and finally a super magnum for up to the 408. His number is (801) 731-8152.

Re: Info request for large action design

Would you like a .812" bolt; Mauser styled action(forum thread with PICS)?!? --- rifleactions.com I am "woodsracer" (cannon Avatar) over there at AR, BTW.

I couldn't find a link for Viper actions OR Performance Machine. Do you happen to have the correct links?
