How to ship ammo??

I want to ship some pistol ammo. I'm not an ffl. Which is the best carrier and does anyone know the regs? I searched both fedex and ups website and can't find any regs.

Corbett I always have my ammo shipped by ups with no problems.I have also had 50 bmg ammo shipped by fedex no problems at all.

Thanks for the info. Did you have to do anything special to send it like mark the package on the outside or anything?

Mark the outside of the box with:

ORM-D
Ammunition, Small Arms

If you ship UPS, it has to be taken to an actual UPS site. I've never shipped it FedEx.
