I have a Remington 40X in .308 that is more of a tactical rifle but would be fun for the short range course.

I am building a comped .338RUM with a Shilen 28" heavy barrel for longer and harder hits at extended ranges. We will see how it works once the new stock arrives.

both guns are fine, last match i had with big game we had 338. lapuas and edges
