Hearing Protection

Interested to hear what is being used.

I just got some Walker Quad muffs, they are exactly what I need for the shooting and work I do. You could hear a mosquito break wind at 100 yards with these things.

Anyone else using electronics?

Also use the good old Peltor 10's, the thick model that really shuts out noise. Like the electrics better.

Have a set of custom molded ear plugs, they are good but a bit of a pain to use, usually forget the damn things. Have to remember which one goes in which ear. Anybody else using custom molded plugs?

Bottom line is, always use something. Otherwise you will end up like a lot of old shooters, selective hearing

Re: Hearing Protection

Ian: I purchased a set of Silencio Rangesafe, #RSX-85's in 1992. Do exactly the same as Walkers. Use them all the time shooting. I will admit a lot of guy's are using Walkers now because of the advertising. Most of the people I shoot with thought mine where phonies until they put them on!. Great stuff for protecting the ear.
