HAWKEYE borescopes

Anyone have any experience with a borescope, particularly the Hawkeye from Gradient Lens Corp. Getting one shortly and would appreciate any info. Will be interesting, not sure if I really want to look down some of my pet barrels

Re: HAWKEYE borescopes

My gunsmith has one. I use it several times per year to look at my barrels. You are right, sometimes I have apprehension of looking because any wear is bad wear! It never gets better anytime you look through it. At best, it can only stay the same, but I have yet to have that happen!

They are great tools though. Very simple and very clear. The 90 degree eyepiece and magnifier are a must. Grab a 2 AAA cell maglite and you're in business.
Enjoy!
